【摘要】:ThispartofEN843specifiesamethodforstatisticalanalysisofceramicstrengthdataintermsofatwo-parameterWeibulldistributionusingamaximumlikelihoodestimationtechnique.Itassumesthatthedatasethasbeenobtainedfromaseriesoftestsundernominallyidenticalconditions.NOTE1Inprinciple,Weibullanalysisisconsideredtobestrictlyvalidforthecaseoflinearelasticfracturebehaviourtothepointoffailure,i.e.foraperfectlybrittlematerial,andunderconditionsinwhichstrengthlimitingflawsdonotinteractandinwhichthereisonlyasinglestrength-limitingflawpopulation.Ifsubcriticalcrackgrowthorcreepdeformationprecedingfractureoccurs,WeibullanalysiscanstillbeappliediftheresultsfitaWeibulldistribution,butnumericalparametersmaychangedependingonthemagnitudeoftheseeffects.Sinceitisimpossibletobecertainofthedegreetowhichsubcriticalcrackgrowthorcreepdeformationhasoccurred,thisEuropeanStandardpermitstheanalysisofthegeneralsituationwherecrackgrowthorcreepmayhaveoccurred,providedthatitisrecognizedthattheparametersderivedfromtheanalysismaynotbethesameasthosederivedfromdatawithnosubcriticalcrackgrowthorcreep.NOTE2ThisEuropeanStandardemploysthesamecalculationproceduresasmethodAofISO20501:2003[1],butdoesnotprovideamethodfordealingwithcensoreddata(methodBofISO20501).
